At the time, Jesus had just checked into a drug rehab facility after an extensive history of being addicted to opioids. Unfortunately, Jesus sustained an injury while working in construction. Due to his injury, Jesus became dependent on opioids which quickly spiraled out of control and ultimately affected his relationships with his family and friends. After hitting rock bottom, Jesus stirred up the courage to check himself into rehab and connected with Virtue Medical Group and Dr. Tran for treatment with medication assisted therapy to detox off opioids.
Jesus’s journey towards sobriety was not an easy one. There were numerous hurdles and setbacks, but Jesus was able to find the support from his family and friends to help him get through the difficult times. Jesus is now 2 years sober and on the path to re-gaining his life and freedom from his addiction. We are extremely happy for Jesus and glad to see that smile again!
